Drawing styles and layer
ProgeMEC permits easy management of typical mechanical drawing problems. The user
can develop a project at full-scale and ProgeMEC will adjust project parameters,
including the on-screen size presentation of text, GDT tolerance frames, finish
symbols, and etc, based on desired printing scale. Drawing borders and data
blocks are automatically inserted by merely specifying the printed sheet size ..
ProgeMEC will logically and automatically place many drawing entities, such as
TEXT, SYMBOLS, TOLERANCES, and CONSTRUCTION LINES, onto layers predefined by the
user. The complete layer scheme can be developed in advance.
Parameters are saved in the drawing styles, where all the features are specified
including layers.
Drawing styles are saved in ProgeMEC and therefore can be easily used for
different drawings.
ProgeMEC sets all the IntelliCAD drawing variables, thus the user can
immediately start the project with no need of pre-setting.
Simplified drawing
ProgeMEC offers unique simplified drawing functions: Axis lines, Building lines,
Special lines and Values with Tolerance.
Part List
It is quick and easy to draw a parts list with ProgeMEC. Once the related values
are entered the table is automatically prepared.
Parametric Library
A parametric mechanical component library, designed after years of professional
application of the most widespread CAD systems in the mechanical design field,
provides 130 normalized component categories that allow easy access to
information and UNI / ISO standards drawings for each component. User
interaction and simple access to the many available functions simplify and speed
up any mechanical part drawing.
SCREWS, HOLES AND PLATINGS, NUTS, ELASTIC RINGS, PLUGS, “SEEGER” rings, TONGUES,
SYNTHERISED SOCKETS, RINGS, SCROOP SPRINGS, WHEELS AND BEARINGS are available.
Symbols
WELDS: complete representation on the drawing, according to the UNI EN
22553:1997 standards, as well as information required to start welding.
PROCESSING SIGNS and ROUGHNESS SYMBOLS: related panels allow the user to place
the most commonly used surface texture or processing symbols directly onto the
drawing.
SHAPE TOLERANCES: apply geometric tolerances and symbols for characteristics
such as parallelism, concentricity, and perpendicularity.
COUPLINGS: gap display (according to the ISO standard) of any matching
Shaft/Hole combination, including a panel which allows selection of the most
suitable combination.
Calculation spread sheets
The ProgeMEC library includes a series of calculation spread sheets.
Compression SPRINGS, resonance and stability calculation.
CAMS, including details, following the normally accelerated movement law. Design
cams with up to 3 upward ramps and 3 downward ramps.
GEARS including the following calculations: end-less screws, cylinder gears,
cord thickness, and Gleason spiral conic couple.
ProgeMEC - powered by IntelliCAD is a
wise choice to handle native DWG files.
