A parametric tool - The power of 'Draw it once'

ProgeARC has a rich library of elements such as walls, doors, windows, stairs, roofs, etc. which can be defined in all their aspects such as shape, type, orientation, dimension as well as in the colour and material of each component. The settings of each element can be saved, thereby creating specific styles for every architectural typology, and can be re-used in any project and adapted to any dimension.

Once inserted, the elements are put in relation to each other: for example, by modifying the shape of a window the wall is automatically updated.

Therefore every time an element is created, it will not be necessary to draw it again, even though the environment into which it is inserted is changed.

The "Draw it Once" concept has been the focal point around which this software was originally developed.

Nobody wants to draw and re-draw the same things every time the project is modified.

For this reason we developed ProgeARC, which can manage geometry while the user explores various options and inserts changes until the desired result is obtained.

CADALYST magazine gave ArchT (from which ProgeCAD has been developed) 5 stars and defined our approach to the problem as 'intelligent, almost magical'.

A complete library

ProgeARC offers a library of more than 4000 blocks, managed by means of a navigation software which allows the user to find what he/she wants thanks to the division into categories and groups.

The same instrument can be used to manage text information, such as laws and guidelines which need to be referred to during planning.

Reports

The report option included in ProgeARC is surprisingly powerful and versatile:

it is like having databases and spreadsheets included in your application. Thanks to this utility it is possible to create any table or abacus by asking ProgeARC to extract automatically from the drawing any number and/or any information concerning type, material or anything the user may need and based on the result of this research, carry out mathematical or Boolean operations.

Always thank to the 'DRAW IT ONCE' technique, when any component of the drawing varies, the table will automatically be updated.

An easy example is represented by an abacus of windows and the relationships of illumination.

Integrated and flexible management

ProgeARC can be used at different levels, from simple aid for the drafting of the tables to tool for the management of a project of the building site and the building itself (Management Facility), keeping at the same time constantly under check all the components of the building process.
